So Kayden is 6 weeks old and has been drinking 4oz of formula. Just recently she started acting like she wants more.. looks like I might need to whip out the bigger bottles. Has anyone switched to a bigger bottle with a faster flow nipple? If it's too fast for her, can I just use the nipples from her old bottles? (same brand) and how do I introduce her to a faster flow nipple?

When I switched bottles I just did it and my daughter picked it up on her own I just made sure to keep her sitting up so just in case

My daughter does that a lot even at the boob. When she starts coughing I sit her up and pat her back to help her out. And my daughters choked so bad her lips turned purple but she's only done it once and she got better about how fast she eats.

my daughter never liked the faster flow...we still use the slow ones at 8 months old...you should be able to still use the slow nipples with the bigger bottles...if they are the same kind.

my daughter's pediatrician said if she didn't like them she didn't need to switch. it's just a preference thing. I try the faster ones once in a while and she just doesn't like them. she drinks from sippy cups which are fast so I don't know why lol.
