okay ladies... the doctor prescribed me to take generic zofran.... has anyone else taken this.. what are yalls thoughts... just looking for feedback good and bad..
I seen on TV they were causing birth defects so I'm afraid of those I take Phenergan.. Just thought I'd let u know
I bought these suckers called preggie pops or something and the ginger one helped more than the zofran ever did. I'd say to try all the other remedies before using zofran, it's been linked to birth defects.
My doctor prescribed me Diclegis and it worked really well. It's the only nausea medicine she recommended for me because it is safe for baby.
@babyv16, I took it and it worked just fine at first. I asked my doctor about the birth defects claim and did some research myself, and there are no links to taking it orally during pregnancy to control nausea. You can of course look things up yourself, just make sure it's an accredited source. I ended up switching to Diclegis and used that through 14 weeks and it worked perfectly!
Try all natural ginger and peppermint I've heard that it can cause birth defects I wouldn't take that chance
awesome thank u ladies.. yeah I can't keep ANY fluids or food down it sucks
i took it my whole first trimester and half of second trimester it worked awesome for me i had very bad morning sickness where i was staying dehydrated because i couldnt even drink water but that pill was like a life saver. & my baby girl is healthy as can be 🙂😊
I'm 10 weeks today and this past week has been very bad.. today was the worse.. I know the whole lawsuit thing against zofran but was wondering who else has taken it and did okay.
I took it 3 times for severe morning sickness in first trimester. I would say it's okay. But they recommend not after 1st trimester. so if offered now I won't take it.
diclegis is the best!! absolutely no birth defects. and it works so wonderfully
