I went through the same. he went to nicu and I couldn't breastfeed. I had to pump for the first week and a half. now I'm just having such a hard time making milk. and at his last Dr's appointment he wasn't gaining enough weight. so they want me to pump, pump, pump and take fenugreek 4 times a day to see if that helps. If he hasn't gained by next appointment I'm gonna have to put him on formula. 😩but im glad you have a happy healthy baby. I hope we reach that soon. 😊 @uhoh2015

I felt the same way! I wasn't making enough milk. I was stressing over it. I was having to substitute formula to keep her full. I had such a hard time bc she went to the NICU where they gave her a bottle and pacifier. I didn't get to do the breast right away or skin to skin and so my milk didn't come in fully they said. I pumped and fed her every 2 hrs and nothing improved. it was so heart breaking and stressful, bc I wanted what was best for her. but after just 2 weeks I gave into just formula feeding. now she's happy and fat, and I'm not stressing no more. just loving on my baby. kuddos to you for sticking it out longer than me! 🙌 hope the remedies help you!

exactly. i just want to cry... my son is eating every hour (or less.) I pump every feeding and get 1-2oz every time....(BTW fenugreek will make you smell like maple syrup) @disneybaby

Try Mother's Milk tea. It helped me a lot. My supply would be low one day and the next it would come back after drinking that tea.

My daughter is also a little over a month old and the most in able to pump is 3oz, and that's only happened twice, I usually can only pump 2oz. And it has to be at like 4 or 6am, plus I have to stop feeding with one of my breasts. I usually only feed her with the right all night so I can pump from the left at 4-6am then my daughter is on the boob every hour after 11am so I can't pump anymore. I'm starting fenugreek on Wednesday due to my low supply. I seem to be able to fill her up most of the time but I know I'm not producing the amount that she needs, if I was she wouldn't scream for the boob every hour which she has bin doing for the past 3 weeks.

In a lot of cases pimping decreases your supply.
