I was induced at 39 weeks with my first. I also tested positive for the group b strep thing. so I went in around 6 am they pumped me with antibiotics and iv bags till they started the pictocin at 2 oclock. active labor at 4. baby boy came at 6:57. :)

I was 39 weeks and a day when I got induced. I was already at 2cm dilated and was contracting on my own once I got there. They started pitocin 12 hours into labor and once I dilated to 3cm they broke my water. I dilated to 5cm and just wouldn't dilate anymore. They tried everything to get me to dilate but nothing moved me past 5cm. Finally after 36 hours of labor they took me into the OR for my c-section. My son was stuck in my hip and that's why I didn't dilate any further. He came out weighing 8lbs 12oz 22inches long.
