So last night when I was laying down I had Chloe (my female cat) laying next to me under the covers which she always does that and not 10 minutes later Rascal (my oldest male cat) came up and laid on my chest with his head laying on my belly...He never lays on me...is that weird?

Yeah see my female cat is always by me no matter what but she's always been like that...now my oldest male cat he's mor independent but lately he's been following me around and laying by me alot more...@kaylaskibinski,

Totally normal. My 9 year old cat is super independent because she is so old, but lately she meows whenever I come into the room to pet her now, and she always sits behind me on the couch and even comes and lays on the bed when I am sleeping.
