I got mine done Wednesday it doesnt hurt or anything as long as you take ypur meds and make sure they numb you enough if you feel to much pressure say something dont let them keep working on you just because they think your numb enough and you will be fine . Do you feel your baby move already ?

I'm like this too just tell them you're terrified and they'll be extra super gentle and nice and ask if you're okay every 5 minutes and talk in nice calming voices. Mine even has me meditate sometimes!

@leiibaaaby, I'm pretty sure i can feel the baby moving but I have never been this far pregnant before. @bria.k There is a new dentist at the office who took over and he's about 23 maybe and he's such a dick. I asked him wensday to be careful touching my face cause it hurt super bad and he started yelling telling me if he can't see what's wrong he can't help me and I'll have to deal with the pain. Even tho he was wrestling around like it was a damn thumb wrestling match with my gum.

You will be ok and I'm sure they will take good care of you esp since you're pregnant. Get it over with & you will feel so much better after. My worst pregnancy symptom has been tooth & gum pain, and I would love to go, but I have no dental insurance. I hope you will be ok and relax, and all will be well.

Okay cause my baby was kinda scared cause of all those noise i felt her kicking and moving the whole time i felt bad and if he gives you a hard to say something who the hell cares your the patient your the one that needs to be accommodated your paying him not the other way around you get me ? Cause im an MA i know exactly how doctors can be smh goodlucj

@bria.k, he's the only dentist there. There are a lot of assistants that are there but only one dentist

I have bad anxiety too and have had panic attacks. My OBGYN prescribes me xanax just for dental appointments only.

I'm a dental assistant and we have ppl that come in all the time terrified but it's fine once ur numb...ask ur doc if they have laughing gas or if they could give u something before...you will be fine...feels better than a toothache forever

@ambernicole, my dad asked last time if they could give me the gas because the needle was hurting to bad (mind you my face was swollen and made my lips 5 times bigger then usual) and he said no because I'm pregnant then went on to say the numbing shot might not work the whole way because of my hormones being up?? He was hesitant on even seeing me as soon as I mentioned I was pregnant

omg duhhh were on a preggo site and not once did I think of that lol....but yeah ur right can't have gas while pregnant!!! sorry.....but I've never heard of numbing not working bc of pregnancy! :/ but u will be fine. just let him numb it good ( which I think he can ) and just breathe and have happy thoughts! :) It will feel better once the ache is gone!

@ambernicole, I think I'll call Monday morning schedule it for later that week since the swilling isn't down completely and he asked me to come when it's completely back to normal and ask if I can get something to calm me down. Before I got pregnant they would give me a pill I had to take an hour before I went so maybe there is something like that, that'll be safe for baby
