Put olive oil in a skillet... Dice up some garlic and sautee it... Rub the bread face down in the mixture flip it garlic side up and toast it on a cookie sheet in the oven. Thats actually how my best friends family makes garlic bread for years... You could also sprinkle garlic powder on it if you don't have fresh garlic but please don't use pam, its edible but it isn't food .

The way @rookiemom described is amazing! But if I'm too lazy I'll just brush it on the bread with garlic and stick it under the broiler @mumof2
