(mainly ftm's )how were your feelings toward your baby ? was it love from the moment of conception, or was it love at first sight? Did it take bonding and time for you to adjust and for your feelings to grow for your baby? anyone experience baby blues or postpartum depression? please share your stories? and any advise.

i loved my first baby during my pregnacy..but since i was goinh through bad stuff i had depression...and felt a little disconnected at the time of birth...right when i was having her. but as soon as i got her in my arms i knew she was the love of my life. until i realised that all my kids were the love of my life. lol. <3

I always wanted a daughter and became more attached once we found out she was a girl. At the time of the birth, I had a ton of complications and was very out of it when she was born. It was the next morning (10 hours) later than I really came too, and realized she was mine, and it was more surreal. I loved her, definitely, but my love gets stronger every day.

I loved my son but I had a little pp depression so he grew on me more and obviously I love him more then anything in the whole world. But pp depression can be hard!

I suffered bad from pp. I still do a little, I had a c section due to him being complete breech. When he was born he had trouble breathing because he was in shock at the time they put morphine in my spinal block I was really doped up when they brought him to my face I was out of it I didn't feel the automatic rush of feelings like I thought that I would but I did love him more than anything in this world & beyond. pp didn't effect me till my friend had to leave me the second night I was in the hospital she helped me those days and then I was left alone and automatically I felt panicked. When we got home the first two and half months were completely hell I cried everyday I was always anxious I barely ate and I was so obsessed with him sleeping I'd get anxious when he slept trying to figure out how long I'd have by myself before he woke up, I felt lost and alone I had my parents support but at the end of the day it was only me and him, his father wanted nothing to do with him I had to go through all of it myself I never expected I'd go through this my love because intense every day.
