Question everyone...a few years ago I was on birth control that gave me PE's (blood clots in my lungs). Because of this I can no longer be in normal hormonal birth control like the pill, implant, shot, none of it. Pretty much condoms only which my husband pretty much refuses to use. Has anyone else had this issue and what did you do for birth control? I might want another baby but not for awhile so I'm feeling very nervous about after this baby is born. Any ideas?? Help...

id just tell my husband either condoms or no sex you decide:P haha my husband doesnt like them too well but before we were pregnant i had the mirena had such bad cramps i had to take it out and i refuse to go on the pill due to your fact blood clots I'm scared ill get them and not know. condoms are your safest bet

I have had blood clot issues but my dr said I can take the mini pill. It has no estrogen in it

I had a non-hormonal IUD for 9 years. Very effective. Not super pleasant to have put in after baby is born, but super easy to take out whenever you need to.
