All men go through this. I read something about this during my first pregnancy. All men think they are going to poke the baby's head with their poker stick but honestly they would have to be very large to get that far. Plus, sperm softens the cervix.

i read in what to expect when your expecting once that no matter what the man thinks or how LARGE they may be no man is big enough to hurt baby. so as long as u are comfortable and everything is intact go for it.

Probably TMI, but y husband and I have sex at least 4 times a week and my doctor said it has done nothing but dilate my cervix and thin it out. I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow and I'm dilated to 1.5cm and thinning, it can be very helpful!
