Not necessarily. The week before I delivered, my hormones seemed so whacked out. I would cry over the tiniest thing. I haven't had any depression after delivering my daughter, though.

usually if you are depressed before getting pregnant women are more depressed after birth, I was severely depressed for 5 years before I got pregnant with my son and afterwards it got a little worse but not as much as you'd think.

im very bipolar. but when i have my children i rarely feel very depressed. it usualy for me gets better during pregnacy and better after pregnacy. my own depressions start giving me trouble usually at three to six months. right now i cry bout everything lol. and i really feel bad for my flaws...im hoping its just pregnacy hormones lol

@yummycake, exactly that's how I feel like I don't want to cry because my family is going think I'm crazy or something but like I could just start crying out of nowhere it's crazy

yeah its just preggy stuff. dont read into it. im sure after a month of having baby ur hormones will settle down. and ull feel close to normal. its hard after to feel good because there is a lot of stress with caring for a newborn. its tiring. and rewarding. too.
