Or if they have to jam a tube down your throat, your rings would get ripped out and that would be even worse. They made me take my septum ring and tongue ring out in case of emergencies like that and what @kmunoz said.

Yes they will. You can't even wear rings. From my understanding if they were to (for what ever reason) have to resuscitate you, you can't have in any medal.
