I started putting cereal in my sons milk at 6 weeks. He was having trouble keeping the milk down because of reflux. Not sure if that's how he's gained so much weight but he's 11 weeks and almost weighs 13 pounds. He was 6 when he was born. The cereal has helped keep the milk down instead of coming up through his nose and mouth which was so scary.

Not until at least 4 months, but preferably 6mo. 2wks is way too young, their bodies and digestive systems can't handle that.

Solids usually aren't introduce until 6 months old. Until its breastmilk or formula.

WHO and AAP recommend nothing but formula or breastmilk until 6 months of age.

My mother in law and I were just talking about this, cuz I asked the same thing... My daughter is two months and my mother in law told me that we can start feeding her cereal within the next couple weeks. My mother in law is making homemade applesauce for my daughter for thanksgiving too
