I'm really emotional today. My mom had a stroke and is in rehabilitation facility for a week or so, then she goes back to the hospital to have surgery for clogged arteries. My husband still wants me to go with him five hours away to his moms for Thanksgiving and I want to stay home to be close to my Mom. Even that's an hour away. If I don't go he's upset with me. He tells me she's not having surgery for two weeks it be ok.

im sorry ur guy isnt being more sensitive. but i believe that he just has a positive outlook and is expecting ur mom to be okay. so if u can please him by spending thanksgiving with his family he may be more supportive with ur mom post surgery. ect. so sorry it sucks.

yes i understand u. my mom had her veins removed because they didnt work. her post surgery recovery was hell. i understand ur fear. but keep calling in and checking on her. but with blood clots there isnt nething u can do. its all preventive medicines.
