@florafedora, but weight also plays in it as well. And If my childs legs are long enough and my child is big enough to where there legs are cramped at the back of the seat my child will be turned around.

lol it still says once the weight & height are right you can switch them to forward facing.

@torielynn17 if you look at the website that was posted above for the laws in Virginia you would see it says once the child reaches the weight & height limit for rear facing car seat you can switch it forward.
