I'm dreading this day when I have my little man.. I may cry with him

He'll sleep for 5-6 hours afterwards. They give them some sort of sugar water that makes them sleep really well so they're not in agony. Once he is awake pee will hurt a lot so you have to keep gauze and vaseline over it to serve as a barrier. As long as you keep the vaseline covering it he won't be miserable. It'll be a lot of work but it heals in a week or two and it'll be a distant memory. The hospital will give you plenty gauze and vaseline. 😊

expect a cranky baby! my son was cranky the whole day. and it was sore for about a week but took a few weeks to FULLY heal
