With my daughter they started out as really light period cramps, started at 11pm and at 7am I sat up and a small amount of fluid came out so I went to the hospital and it was my water so they admitted me, mine didn't start getting really painful until I was 9cm.

omg that's pretty scary... how long did you wait before going to the hospital? I've been having contractions in an irregular pattern for daysss but right now they seem to be more consistent I'm just not sure how long I should wait before going in... what made you go to the hospital? @wiccanmommy
