I'm really scared to introduce my baby to my two cats when she is born. I have been reading online about pets becoming angry and acting out(my SO's patience with the cats is so thin, maybe due to me being pregnant? Is he hormonal? Used to love our cats now hates them). I am terrified they will pee on Rosalies things or be underfoot at all times. Did anyone have good luck with their animals and new baby? I'm so nervous, it's killing me.

My cat was raised with my baby brother and it seriously changed who my cat was. He was a stray kitten that lived in my parents' barn/shed thing and we brought him in and cleaned him up and I kept him and my brother was about 3 months at the time so instead of being stand offish to babies and people he is really laid back he doesn't try to sleep on the baby or anything and doesn't bite or scratch anyone when they mess with him or tease him or at all really. My brother can pull on his tale and throw shit at him and he doesn't care or get mad so I'm not worried at all.

Our animals are amazing with our little one. We have 2 cats and 2 dogs and have had zero issues with the transition :)

My baby girl and my cat were best friends. Kitty was fascinated with her but never "bothered" her. I was never nervous about the cat around the baby. Be sure you get them used to her scent, and give them SOME time even if not as much as before. Special treats can help too. Pets ARE family, so don't suddenly treat them like nuisances.
