People who complain about people not getting the gifts on there registry are so ungrateful...it's nobody's job to provide your child's needs but yours ...they didn't have to get you anything just be grateful that they thought about you and decided to get you anything at all. I didn't even put big stuff on my registry like swings and bassinets because I wouldn't expect my family to spend there hard earned money on MY baby. I got diapers tons of cute clothes blankets shoes stuff like that and I was happy. #EndRant

I agree completely. This is also another reason I don't have a baby shower. My husband and I do it all on our own. Always have, always will. If a family member wants to buy something, they will let us know and then we will allow them to do so. But it usually doesn't happen anyway and we are self sufficient. If people get anything at all at a baby shower or from their registry, they should count themselves LUCKY because some people get nothing.

@sarahemccormick, exactly! I had a baby shower not because I wanted free stuff but because my family likes to celebrate everything lol. My mom spent a ton on food and cake and drinks for everybody to come celebrate my new life with me (she insisted) and I was thankful for whatever I got. & for the People that showed up and simply told me congratulations! For us it was more like my baby's first birthday party lol

Right! I think only two ppl got what was on the registry but I loved each and every gift:) because I feel a baby shower is just about support and celebrating pregnancy and the baby . Cuz they really didn't even have to come either
