How many ultrasound do they make you have thur out the pregnancy?

If your pregnancy is normal and you don't have any complications, you usually get 2-3

It depends on your doctor, but most do so they can check baby's weight and make sure they aren't breach.

I've had a normal pregnancy, no complications, but I've gotten an ultrasound at every Dr visit. I've also had 3 extensive growth scans, and 1 more sched. 2 days before I'm due (if I make it that far). Maybe it depends on the Dr. By the way,I'm in Van Nuys too! lol small world 😊

I think it depends who ur doctor is and where u go. I get one every time I go, but it is a private doctor

I only got 2, so it does depend on your doctor and their views about the amount of ultrasounds you should have. Some doctors try to do as little as possible because they believe too many ultrasounds is bad for the baby because there apparently isn't enough research about the effects. Then you have doctors like mine who only give 2 but will make an excuse to give you another if you really wanted one, he thinks the whole idea of ultrasounds being bad for baby is ridiculous lol.

I get one every 4 weeks only because I'm high risk but I heard normally it's only like 3-4 times
