Soo ready for baby girl to be here. Only about 3 weeks left but I'm soo impatient. We had a doctors appointment on Wednesday and my doctor tells me that his wife is having her baby the Monday after thanksgiving. He's going to take some time off but don't worry someone will be there if my water breaks or something. Now I'm super worried he won't be my delivering doctor. What do you ladies think?

I think my doctors office has 4 different doctors but he's the only one I've seen. I would probably feel differently if it wasn't for the fact that I haven't met any of them. I wonder if I can request a different doctor if mine can't be there

Neither one of my doctors from my previous pregnancies were there for the actual birth but it worked out perfect. If you have a specific labor care plan just write it out and bring it when you go. It'll work out fine

My office has 9 different doctors I've seen throughout my pregnancy. I have no idea who will be delivering my baby & I hate it lol. I wish I just had one

I think you and your baby will be perfectly fine. My sister had a baby three years ago and there was no doctor there. She didn't get there in time. The nurses delivered my nephew. And everything was perfectly fine. Don't stress. It happens all the time and it'll work out
