Does any one else here have a puppy & a newborn? I'm just wondering if it's ever been an issue. My puppy is a good dog he's just still hyper and likes to jump all over the furniture. I'm just worried he's going to jump on my baby by accident. He's also stingy when it comes to attention. Especially when it comes to people trying to give me hugs or something he doesn't like it and wants to get in between. I'm hoping when he's born he'll mellow out but idk.

@xolovingisaiah, don't let him get on the furniture anymore. We had to do that with my puppy and it was a hard lesson to learn. When we brought Kaiden home tubbs (the dog) just sniffed him and tried to be by him constantly, he has never been vicious towards Kaiden and he's 10 months old now.

@heykaidensmom Yeah we've been working on that. It's not so much the fact that he's on the furniture it's more of how he jumps on it. He'll jump from one couch and fly to the other. If he was like my other dog it wouldn't be an issue to me. She's calm and makes sure she checks who's on the sofa before she jumps. I don't think max would be vicious I just think he's gonna be jealous at first

my dog has always been hyper she's about to be 2 years old..... But ever since I've been pregnant she doesn't let my fiance give me a hug or rub my belly.... and when people come over the house and are about to leave she doesn't let them shake my hand she tries to bite them. She's been over protected throughout my pregnancy and im sure she'll be like that once the baby is born
