Purchased some castor oil yesterday but not really sure how I feel about it. I haven't taken any yet but have any Mommas taken it or know anyone that has taken it ? Don't know how true it is but it says it can cross the placenta

It's very dangerous to the baby not worth even thinking about doing it. It can cause the baby to have a bowel movement in the sac and if they swallow some it can be bad. Not to mention the only reason it triggers labor is because it gives you the shits and cramp...you don't wanna have the poops going into labor lol

I will admit I tried it wit my first, and regretted it immediately. Nothing happened at all, but my baby moved so much it was kinda scary. So I just never again picked it up. Personally I don't think you should, for various reasons. But it's your choice.

ehhh be careful. My mom has cerebral palsy and it was supposedly caused by the fact that my nana drank a bunch of castor oil to induced and it made labor come on too fast and strong and was a major factor in my mom developing cerebral palsy. Be careful.

I did with my pregnancy before and yes for the first day I used the bathroom and threw up quite a few times but 3 days after that my water broke and baby came and everything was fine!!! It has different effects on different people.
