This first week has been crazy. They have lactation consultants that come and help you. You get colostrum the first few days. I was completely dry and was crying and stressed. My baby was losing weight. I get home and first night he just screaming! I got a little colostrum but it was hard for me getting used to things. I woke up on day 2 with hard swollen lumpy breasts. Milk leaking everywhere. It was sooo painful. Now im on day 7 and im getting the hang of it. My boobs still hurt but not as bad. Im more used to his feeding cues AND i have started to freeze extra milk. But it has been torture. Ive cried so much cus i thought my baby wasnt eating. I wish i took a class or actually read my book
