I've been drinking a monster energy drink ever so often and just realize it says do not drink if nursing. could this be the reason why my child is having issues staying asleep longer then 10 min at a time or so?

Yes it could be. Babies are very sensitive to whatever you're eating or drinking when breastfeeding. I would stop drinking it or at least pump ahead if you plan on having one.

she has formula most of the time I only nurse once out twice a day and pump a few times a day

Oh yeah that could cause it for sure. Energy drinks have more then just caffeine like coffee does they have extra things in them to give you that BOOST and that can have a far worse effect on her then you
