So I always thought the Ramzi theory was another wives tale. And all the wives tales I've looked at have told me (every single one) that my baby is a girl. I googled the Ramzi theory and it's actually a proven study...The Basics of The Ramzi Theory
"Ramzi’s method is using placenta/chorionic villi location as a marker for fetal gender detection at 6 weeks gestation was found to be highly reliable. This method correctly predicts the fetus gender in 97.2% of males and 97.5% of females early in the first trimester." Has it worked for anyone else???

Not sure about my first, but was wrong with my 2cd. At my first ultrasound I made sure to ask which side the placenta was on since you can't really tell in pictures, and according to the theory it would be a boy.

Yes, I found out early at 15 weeks but at my last ultrasound still a girl.

I did the theory myself. I could tell where the placenta was and it showed girl. At 16 weeks and 20 the ultrasound tech confirmed girl.

@their.bomb.ass.mom, you're first ultrasound was a trasnvaginal one though right?

I had one transvaginal and one abdominal a week later and asked what side the placenta was both times and they both said the same thing. The ultrasounds were before 12 weeks like they're supposed to be, and the only difference in having the abdominal would mean I would have to switch the side the placenta was on since I would be looking at it backwards, but yes, my first was transvaginal.
