I'm considered overweight as well so that's probably why they do it twice. I had just never heard of having to do it multiple times.

I've never heard of doing it again in the 3rd trimester.

Idk, my doctor had me do it at 13 weeks because im considered obese & I guess being overweight makes the risk of gestational diabetes higher. But everyone does it in the third trimester .. & Im not looking forward to it either. 😒

@brooke3772, all doctors have you do it in the third trimester. I had to do it at 13 weeks & again when im 27 weeks.
