Happy Friday Preggies!

The Preggie community is all about support and sharing experiences. We want all moms and moms-to-be to feel comfortable posting and commenting, and that includes photographs.

A picture is worth a thousand words, and it’s often way easier to post a photo to ask advice rather than describe it. Members often want to ask advice about their mucus plug, spotting or something of a medical nature.

These photos are important to us all as a community. However, it has been an ongoing issue that some women really don’t want to see a bloody “TMI” photo while scrolling casually through the Newsfeed and would prefer to be warned in advance of what they are about to see.

We are working on a labeling system, but in the meantime let’s start a new program of putting “TMI” photos in the comments rather than in the main post. Write the post as usual and then tell others that the photo will be in the comments. Then moms will get the help and advice they need and those with sensitive stomachs can just scroll past.

There may be new members who don’t see this post and who post their own TMI photos without knowing. Please don’t criticize them directly, just complain to us and we’ll talk to them.
