Is it just my son or is anybody else's kid wake up out of a dead sleep screaming, blood murdering screaming for no reason at all? Nothing I have tried is working and doctors think he might be having nightmares. Do y'all have any idea what I can do to help my baby boy sleep longer than just 3-5 hours in a roll?

my 3 week old has done it twice, usually scouping her up and cuddling her will put her right back to sleep. I wonder what they could be having nightmares about?

night terrors. I had them when I was a baby. now my daughter has them.

I don't understand why he would neither of us (his parents) had night terrors when we were little. When he doesn't get much sleep at night, he's a cranky pants in the morning until his nap. I just would love for him to be happy and healthy!

How old is your baby? My almost 3 year old does that almost every night! I read up on it and it was saying it is night terrors. My daughter can't be calmed down either, she'll cry for 10 mins at the longest and even trying to comfort her makes it worse because she has no idea what's going on.

He just turned 1 this past Sunday. Its been happening since around 6 months ago. The doctor said it might be from somebody scaring him. He's fine when I comfort him depending on the night, sometimes he wants a milk (his comfort food).
