How did you ladies wash these type of hats ?

It probably won't hurt.. Especially if you're gonna put it on a new born.. Just cause their so sensitive to everything at first.

Probably hand wash and lay flat to dry.

my fiance's grandma made us a knitted blanket. and we just washed it on delicates and dried it normally. it was fine. I think it depends on the yarn though.

I wash all my crocheted things I've made never had a problem just watch the dryer

I usually wash it on delicates and let it air dry.
