I'm on every 2 week appointment and I'm on Medicaid and it's just been tummy checks lately and I'll walk in around 11am and won't get out til 2pm. All they had to do is check vitals (weight, blood pressure) then ask the same few questions, then checks the heart beat of the baby and sometimes measures me and I go on my way. Kinda ridiculous to be there waiting majority of the time over a tummy check...I just hope they don't treat me any different when I go to give birth because I'm on Medicaid. :/

I'm on Medicaid and I don't have any of those issues at all... what state? maybe try switching drs @weslexis and if you don't like your Dr why didnt you switch drs when you weren't further along?? just curious

@weslexis, same here girl. The minimum amount of time I spend at my appointments is literally 2hour! But usually close to 3! I seriously will be sitting in the waiting room waiting 1+ hours past my appointment before I even get taken back to my room. And my husband won't let them treat me like shit. He will flip his lid. And thankfully a really good friend of mine works at the hospital I'm delivering at! So I'll be on her floor the whole time!

@thebroadwaybaby16, Florida for me! And I liked my doctor until my weekly appointments started and she started acting like a total snob. Making me feel dumb if I asked questions and ect knowing I'm a FTM.

I think it's just the Dr. but by the time I knew something wasn't right it was to late to switch Dr's. well mine wasn't my Dr it was the other Dr's in the practice but I wasn't allowed to see my Dr the last month on my pregnancy because he was on vacation in my due date but her delivered my daughter

@thebroadwaybaby16, thank you. It's almost over! Good thing is I'm due on thanksgiving so hopefully she will just be on vacation or something so someone else can deliver my son! Lol

@steph11, oh wow. I've had my doctor the entire time. But didn't think she was too bad. Until my 37 week appointment she actually had another OB coming in to help her since her office is so busy. And the other lady saw me and she was the sweetest person ever! She didn't make me feel stupid for asking questions. And then I'm just like damn why did I deal with my doctor this entire time! Lmao. But my doctor is also the only female in my area that delivers at the hospital that I want to deliver at. So she was my choice by default just because the hospital she delivers at. And that she's a female. Lol

Well the doctor is nice, it's the wait that's ridiculous and I feel like people who come in AFTER me get served before I do and they're in and out. It's ridiculous. And this waiting around didn't start until the last 2 appointments and I figured I'm already this far, might as well finish it out and next time I have a baby, I'll go to someone else.

@weslexis, mines been like that the whole time! :/ and I can go in and have like 4 other people sign in after me and they will be seen before me some how! Lmao. It's horrible! 🖕🏻
