I'm a little bummed about the plans for my baby shower. I feel insanely spoiled and bratty even thinking about it since it is being thrown for me even though it is my second child. (My first son is 7 his father passed years ago). My bf's mom is going to throw it the week after my due date. At my house. I have a lot of concerns about that: What if the baby comes late? What if I have a c-section and am not very mobile by then? What if my house is trashed since I'll have a newborn, my 7 year old, 3 cats and a dog and bf does NOT clean house. Or clean up after himself for that matter. Oh and then there is the the fact that I will not have much for the baby before it arrives. Bf and his mom ask for my input and when I voiced my concerns about the timing they decided it would be best then to have it at my house. That's helpful. Again I feel like such a c@nt for being bummed about it.

Well listen it's ur baby not hers if you would like to know then by all means ask next time u go.. As far as the baby shower talk to them about your concerns also let them know it will be better do do it before the baby that way you know what your getting and won't get double of the same item. You might get a lot of useful big items at the shower and its will help to do it early instead of after and by luck u went out and spent your own money when you were getting it as a gift... So try talking it's your baby remember her kids are grown. If u let her have this much control just wait until you have your baby how she will try to run the show!!! @alexinwonderland
