Do you have state insurance?

I don't know if it's same everywhere, but here in Oregon, the baby is covered under you for all those procedures.

@mrsschutte1323, @tmoschetti06 no I don't have state insurance, I'm still covered under my mom's insurance even though I'm married.

he can be put on either Insurrance. you add him to your policy and it put him under pedicatrics so more things are covered. when he is born you call your Insurrance and they get his DOB and set everything up.

I'm pretty positive everything the baby has done in the hospital will be covered. You can call your insurance to make sure.

she is right ^^ you call your insurance after he's born then a few weeks they send you a policy number for him and you call the hospital with it and it covers everything

I have state insurance and when my daughter was born she was added to my case and the hospital applied for insurance for her

Baby is covered under you for 30 days (they've made it federal law) and then after that you have to call and add him to whichever insurance you want baby to have. I've been going through the same stress! It's hard when you've never done it before. I've been freaking out haha
