I'm kinda a beginner.

I know the single crochet stitch and the double crochet stitch.

I just finished a double stitch blanket.

I'm wanting to make a blanket for my dad. but I don't know other stitches.

what is a simple stitch I could learn as a beginner that would look nice in a blanket
