Breast feeding mommas I need advice for a plugged duct. For two days I have done heat, nursed only on that side only, massaged before and after and I've been on antibiotics for a little over a day. Seems to not want to budge and I'm not sure if it's in my head but my supply on that side seems down. Anything else I should try??

wherever the pain is coming from try placing your baby where their bottom lip is directly diagonal from and try thatn so if the pain would be in the top left your baby's bottom lip is bottom right if that makes sense. it may cause you to have to nutse in a weird position but it should help unclog it or try pumping. thats what worked for me and my breastfeeding instructor said it also worked for her.

lay baby on their back I do this in bed then get on all 4s and dangle feed let gravity work. if you can massage it while doing that do that too you NEED to get it out before it turns bad bad bad for you! watch your temp and for flu like symptoms

every woman has a tit that don't work, to put it in a funny way. Lol. it just won't fill up like the other and lags and...it's the ugly duckling you would say. Nurse on it first and more frequently than the one that wants to be in the spotlight.

the only things that helped me when I encountered this was lots of ibuprofen, hot showers and just let the water run on that area (that would help relieve some pressure for me), and tlc. good luck!!!!
