yes he had trouble latching and feeding he would go 4 or 5 hours without eating. ..

Yes he was very sleepy and didn't want to eat as much. Nurse said it's completely normal.

This is my second attempt he got the procedure done about 4 hours ago and ate a few hours before he got it done :( @brandy8706 @reaganmommy2015 he wakes up but goes to sleep once he is latched and won't stay up just wants to sleep

@whitney, ugh ok well that's reassuring my nurse didn't even mention it she just said to try again in a little while and gave me tips to keep him awake but they're not working. Even the feet tickles 😓

My son was the same he was really sleepy I got him naked & used a wet wash cloth on his little head it helped a little bit

I just let him rest because I felt so bad for him but after about 4 to 5 hrs he woke up crying and fed a bunch.

Oh I forgot but when I tried feeding him he didn't want latch good so I pumped and my husband fed him with a droplet. That's just putting his finger in his mouth and seringing the milk into his mouth. He ate that way really good. Then he was more hungry and breastfed really well. I would ask your nurse about feeding him that way.

Yes you can give him Tylenol , my doctor said 1 cc of Tylenol every 4 hours for pain and discomfort. My boy was just circumsized about a week ago ! I just stayed on top on Tylenol and he ate and slept just fine :)
