Yeah I was the same for a few days. just keep adding the lotion every few hours and it will get better.

@xaviersmommy, yes I tried some after the last feeding and my nipples feel sooo much better. But the first few seconds of his latch still hurts :(

the nipple shield is mainly to help the babys latch. have you tried the nipple lotion ? it works wonders. add some after every feeding
