I have an appointment on Thursday and it's going to be a long one. I'm having the pertussis vaccine done, and I also have to do the gestational diabetes screening. I am also having an ultrasound done because at the anatomy scan 8 weeks ago the placenta was partially covering my cervix. They have to make sure that it's not like that anymore, otherwise I'll have to have a C section. Prayers for a smooth, quick day please!

In September when I have my first scan I have been told it's also time for my Down's syndrome screening and if I have it done there's a chance of miscarriage it's scared me a bit. May I ask your views on having the test and/or if you had it done or not?
No judgements pls, but I am absolutely petrified of giving birth (and also extremely squeamish). My whole life I always said when I got pregnant, I would have a c-section. Well, now that it's almost time, I have no idea what to do 😭 I would really love to talk to mamas who've had a Cesarean by choice.. I don't have anyone in "real life" to talk to about this at all and it's really getting to me.

Am I wrong for not wanting anybody to hold the baby if it's not me or my husband? If they touch them I have them to sanitize their hands I do it to my kids also??
