Back, side, or tummy for newborns? I've heard so many different ones it's stressing me out. I feel like I'm never going to sleep I'm just going to stay up and stare at her.

I usually put my babies on there side. I was always scared too put them on there tummies when there newborns. cause there necks aren't as strong and didn't want them suffocating

My daughter only slept on her belly, even almost 10 months old, still does. No matter how much I put her on her back she moved. Some babies are just like that. I can't tell you how many nights I spent just staring at her. But she never suffocated, she was in her crib with no blankets around and that worked for us. Back is the "general rule," some always use belly in case they spit up so they don't choke. Either way you put your baby you will still stare at them for hours while they sleep. It's inevitable.

I would never do belly just too risky in my opinion. A lot of people do it and nothing happens yes because they're lucky. But there's ALOT of cases where stuff HAS happen such as suffocation babies can't hold their head up or know to lay the head sideways. My daughter sleeps on her back but she gets bad acid reflux so sometimes I put her on her side due to choking
