Had new carpet installed in my house today. Now I'm awake and paranoid about the "new carpet smell". I hadn't even considered the smell when planning for the carpet. Ugh. What gives?!! There is no end to the worry!!

hello mothers and mothers to be, what are some weird things you craved to smell during your pregnancy and yes i do mean smell. here are a list of things i crave smelling... cold air from vents/car/freezers new clothes from a expensive clothing store a rag drenched in hot water new leather smell new car smell clean clothes out of washer (not dried) the smell of new purses/ inside of diaper bag from walmart smell of new clean tools and recently ive discovered was the smell of hot steam coming out of the dishwasher when you open it. what do you crave smelling?
Vacuuming. So I have never had carpet flooring before. I'm new to the vacuuming world. When I vacuum I feel like the rooms smells like vacuum. Like hot. Idk. Any idea if I have to put some powder or something on the carpet to make the room smell good? Thanks
