@leepster123, he says he doesn't want the dog using the bathroom all over the house, but that's why you gotta train them. But I'm still trying to talk him into it! :)

exactly you must train . not like the poor pup doing it on person. sii cute n wants love n sure misses you. what he going to do when the baby pees on him lolol . jk but really . I hope he can come home soon ! :)

Crate train the puppy. So basically he wont go in his "house" (the crate) just take him out alot to go potty and use potty pads just incase in his crate. Ask a dog trainer at like petco or pet smart, they can really help:) that way u can have him with u and potty train him

Lol I honestly don't know what he'd do if the baby used the bathroom on him!! I hope I can bring him home too. @leepster123

My dog got trained in about a month she stays with us in our room so when she has to go she holds in and hits the door invest in potty pads and place them every where at first to avoid messes and constantly take him out even if he's not showing he has to go he'll get used to the fact that it's time to go potty when you take him also reward him and get excited when he does go outside so he knows he's doing right it usually doesn't take very long but I'm sure every dog is different I have a pitbull lol good luck and hopefully your man will let you take him just tell him you want your kid to have a friend lol dogs adapt to kids for the most part and it's kind of cute lol

No problem I begged my husband for a puppy and I swear she's like our kid! Pit bulls tend to think they're humans and mine sure does lol I can't wait for her to meet our little girl ! Show him some YouTube videos of dogs with babies it's hard to resist lol good luck ❤️
