Anyone else's 9 month old refuse to let anyone feed them because they want to do it themselves? Lol…

My daughter just turned 9 months, and there's times she doesn't want anyone to, she wants to grab it herself.

@andrealynne, that's how Emma is, she's been doing it for awhile but she's getting worse lol now she grabs it off forks and spoons or will refuse until she does it herself

My daughters name is emma too =) little miss Emma Jean @ashbabash18 I've been giving her the option of picking it up off of her tray on her highchair.

Finger foods at this time are amazing @ashbabash18 I've seen with baby food you can use a zip lock bag like a piping bag, use wax paper on a cookie sheet and put drops and freeze them, then while they are frozen, stick them in a zip lock bag and stick them back in the freezer. Easy for them to pick up and good for teething =)

@andrealynne, I do the same thing for my Emma :) lol I'd let her feed herself puffs then sneak bites of food in between with the spoon, but now she'll scream and turn her head or try taking the food off the spoon or smacking the spoon out of my hand until I let her do it herself...but there are still some foods she can't feed herself yet because she can't use the spoon yet

Right it's a struggle at times, but tend to find ways around it. She wears a lot of it most of the time lol @ashbabash18
