My glucose test is during my next appointment so I am a little nervous. My OB said gestational diabetes percentage is much higher in the south (bc of diet I believe). What all will I do during this test?

i would recommend the fruit punch one , it was delicious to me... and ask if they have it cold it taste way better@momtog89
It's not that bad I had mine done on Tuesday they made me fast from the night before and then they gave a orange drink and it tasted good and then wait an hour and then they took blood and I went home to stuff my face
Mine is my next appointment as well... I'm dreading it. Especially since I was caught with candy in my purse. Lol. But I was told I'll have to drink something that's like a bad Koolaid and that after an hour I will do blood work.
They'll make you drink a liquid, mine was like orange crush soda, then you have to wait an hour and then they'll draw blood. you can't eat or drink during that hour though.
it's really what ever flavor they have I wanted the lemon on and I got orange
