Today I had planned to take my SO to my hometown for a weekend away and to meet & see some of my family. I was excited but now with a heavy heart we are going not just for those reason but to say goodbye to a dear friend of mine. It is hard to process how quickly change happens and how precious life is. We have lots of plans this weekend but I think we will need to plan another one to connect and bond with each other before baby girl comes.
