so I just woke up and felt this weird feeling in my index finger .. it feels like it's asleep , but…

so I just woke up and felt this weird feeling in my index finger .. it feels like it's asleep , but doesn't have that tingly feeling you get after your arm goes to sleep... it has a slight pulsating feeling but it doesn't look swollen or discolred . idk if it's from how I was laying on my side, or what.. I've never felt this before. any ideas?
