at my first ultrasound i was 9 weeks 2 days and heart rate was 180 then at my next appointment it was 172 and then last month it was 143 and they told me I'm having a boy at my 17 week ultrasound. but doctor said it's hard to by the heart rate because it goes up and down through out pregnancy.

With my first pregnancy my daughters heart rate was always between 150 and 170. my second pregnancy my sons heart rate was always 150 and lower. and now this last pregnancy I'm having a girl again and its the same 150 to 170. everyone's different this has just been my personal experience!

My babies heart rate was around that at the first ultrasound and we are having a girl. The heart rate also went from that high to around 140 at this last apt.
