seriously annoyed that I'm only approved for $16.00 a month in food stamps... ugh

They did the same thing to me but gave me cash aid it's so annoying

wtf 16 dollars huh??? why Even say you are approved they minus well just say u don't qualify for that little bit of money smh

but usually if you aren't adding dependents on it and its just for u the lower benefits you'll get. once you can put child on it it should make it rise

That's bullshit excuse my French lol me and my husband were getting $375 just for us 2 then the baby came now we get $511.

Tell them you will be unemployed they should give you more. I've never heard of someone getting $16

Yeah I honestly can't believe that... I mean honestly what's the point. I probably costs more to have the state take my case and process it and pay my case worker...

I've been there. I was so surprised and kinda pissed.

@mommacat, that's sad. Some states are assholes about food stamps. When I was in Indiana I didn't qualify. I moved 1 hr away to Chicago and I get all this money. I think it depends on the state too.
