i want to make beans in my crockpot but they take forever.. . i have some things to do and will be out for like 3 hrs. have any of you guys ever left it alone for that long? ive left it on while i sleep but im a little concern leaving it without me being home.

My Mom leaves ours on for 6 hours at a time, with nobody here and it's been fine. Just think…if your house burns down you can sue the Crock-Pot company! LOL they are meant to be left all day so you have food when you get home.

I used to get it ready before work and I'd be gone at least 9 hours. crock pits are made for that
