I need help girls!!! My baby has been born for a couple of hours now and he won't latch on to my breast. I feel frustrated and I dont know what to do. Please help!!!!

I broke down at my moms house today ... because of the debt we owe and Passover is coming and it’s a very expensive holiday ... it was just way too much .... my mom i guess told my brother that I’m suffering and he called me over and asked me why i didn’t just ask for help, and offered to help when i need it . And gave me basically 4K to help for the month and if i need more to ask ... now one thing about me , is that i will suffer silently and won’t ask for help.... I’ve always been that way. Deff thankful for my family atm. I will start to do eBay too . I have stuff i can sell... anything to help out alittle help my husband ... whatever i can do.

Please help! My doctor is trying to induce me before 40 weeks because she's going to be off on my due date and says my placenta is starting to look old. How do I get labor started?? I don't want to be induced for no reason and I'm thinking I won't have a choice. Please help. What do I do to get things going?
My dad doesn't think I can do this #need help.

Lactation consultants are really good to have maybe the hospital can provide you with one , sometimes with the latching there is a small issue that u don't see . I would advise one . Their really good and can really help.

yes ask for a lactation consultant! i didn't until she was 1 day old & she already massacred my nipples and it was really painful until day 5...use the resources. good luck & congrats!

Pick up the book- the womanly art of breastfeeding. It's an amazing guide and was very helpful! It can take week for you and baby to get it down. Don't give up you'll get the hang of it. Patients is key 😀

it is so frusturating... my son wouldn't latch or eat and they threatened to not let him go home so I used a nipple shield and we smeared some regular formula on the outside so he would get a taste of something and would be more eager to start sucking... it worked wonders..also they have hand pumps you can ask for to pump some out and use a syringe to squirt a little in his mouth right before u try to latch #LongPost #Sorry
