So I was told today that anyone could just take my kid and run away cause me and my boyfriend didn't go to court to file for custody after she was born is that true ?!
He never being on time will be better for you in the long run. I'm not sure how a set visitation schedule would work with you two living together but it's worth a try I wouldn't want my baby around a person like that.
He lives with me but we argue all the time about her going to his moms house she is also a known alcholic and even he's scared to take her at a certain time and I do that actually but he's never on time for anything @aek91 @tibi2696
its best to have proof too, like text him and tell him when he's supposed to be back and such so you can show it to a judge. That way its not just she said he said
If he lives with his mom I don't think they'll make him go somewhere else for visitations unless you have really good reasons why your baby can't be around that person
Good I just fear cause his mother doesn't even claim her she talks so much trash about me and she's not going to do it around my daughter even if she is only two months @tibi2696
I'm not sure about just going to his moms house but if he tries to run off with her then ya that's kidnapping, your still the mom and therefore have every right to keep your child with you.
If you call the police they are going to ask you if you have a visitation schedule if you did & he took her without your permission then he could get in trouble but if you don't they'll pretty much tell you that it's between you two
Oh good but what if he takes her to his mothers house without permission
If his name is on the birth certificate then he is aloud to take the child without kidnapping charges only if the baby hasnt been in the same state for 90 days.
